Rejected!

I recently submitted three children’s books to a publisher and I received my first rejection letter this week. All things considered, it was a very nice letter… “we enjoyed reading your manuscript but it’s not quite right for us…”

One of my colleagues reminded me today that I’m not a “real” author until I have collected a drawer full of rejection letters…and so, I will keep plugging away.
